Welcome To Kim's Specialty Chocolates!  My name is Kim White and I am the founder of Kim's Specialty Chocolates.  For the past 25 years I have been making home-made chocolates at the Holiday’s for friends and family.  My husband has suggested for a long time that I turn my hobby into a business.

    I was lying in bed thinking of the European Market in downtown Chesterton.  I began to wonder what would be involved to offer my chocolates for sale.  After some research, I decided to give it a try in August of 2009.  The first week, I only offered peanut clusters and sold out of 58 boxes.  I decided to keep going each Saturday adding more variety each week.

    By Christmas, I figured out that I needed more room than my home allowed for my chocolate making business.  My husband and I decided to remodel a room that we have vacant in our commercial building.

    On February 10, 2010, we officially opened Kim's Specialty Chocolates, Customized Chocolates for Every Occasion!  Thank you for visiting us today!
